Blooming boys

Flying Jae is 4 now and Lil' Cowboy is 2. Both just had a June birthday. My boys are growing like weeds! They get along for the most part. One minute they are the best of buds, the next they are fighting like cats and dogs. The days when they are fighting with each other non-stop, there are toys all over the floor and they still need help wiping themselves. :) (Sorry to be so blunt...but it's life!) Those are the days that can ruffle my feathers, make me want to tear my hair out and dream of the days when they are grown up and moved out. I sometimes take this stage of life for granted. They are only going to be little for a short amount of time. I need to remind myself that even on the most trying of days. "This too shall pass." These days won't last forever.

Our lives are going to be changing quite a bit in the next four months for my hubby (Mr. Pilot) and me as I am pregnant with our 3rd boy. What a joy (and challenge!) this will be! I pray that the Lord will give me and Mr. Pilot the strength to raise these boys for Him. The diligence to train them to be godly, mannerly and responsible boys who will make wonderful husbands for some very lucky ladies one day! (I'm not biased or anything like that! ;)

As our boys continue to bloom and grow, may they blossom (pardon the cheesiness, but it seemed to fit with the the whole blooming theme), into young men who follow in their daddy's footsteps. Their daddy, Mr. Pilot, is a sweet, thoughtful, hard working and loving man. If they grow up to be half as sweet as their daddy boy oh boy, will they make some girl a happy woman!

But until we even get to that point of discussing the marriage of my boys to anyone (hopefully that is a LONG way off!) I want to enjoy these moments while they are still young.

Well, it's time I get off my duff. I am off to clean up some toys, and wash the ketchup fingerprints off the table. Lil' Cowboy is napping, maybe I can get the house decent looking before he wakes up?
